Handcrafted Camouflage Resin Tank Style Pen – PEN1215

You will receive an unusual handcrafted “Tank” themed pen.

The metalwork is made using antique finishes incorporating many features of a modern tank. The nib depicts the end of the main barrel, while the clip incorporated the tracks. The top finial has several symbols at the top and is decorated with stars around its circumference.

The refill is a standard “Parker” style refill that is available from most stationary stores. The refill is exchanged by unscrewing the nib and removing the old refill, making sure not to lose the small spring. Simply place the spring on the new refill, insert and screw the nib piece back into place. Make sure the refill seats properly into the pen.

All in all, a great writing instrument for military enthusiasts and gamers.

The barrels can be made from almost any timber, resin, or polymer clay.

The barrel of this pen is made from a dark camo polyester resin.

Polyester Resin is used in making pens all over the world. The blanks are available from many websites and the range is vast. Resin is a little harder to turn than timber and dulls the tool edges much quicker (need to sharpen the tools more often). However, some people prefer vibrant colours compared to timber on pens and other items.

Any section of Timber, Polyester Resin, Polymer Clay, or most materials have a different grain pattern. These patterns are generally never repeated.
